My sons and daughters, the world has plunged into immense confusion. Minds have darkened to levels never before seen. Everywhere you can see how doctrines are proclaimed that contradict each other so that one cannot clearly discern. Often, young people are enchanted by temptations that lead them to live in an abyss of inner emptiness. Vulnerable, they crack like eggshells at the slightest blow. They make the pleasures of the body and indulgence a way of life, imagining that this offers a happiness that never comes. This finally leads to the death of the soul.
