The Calling of Fundación Amor Vivo

Fundación Amor Vivo was born from a call that was received.

It did not arise from the desire to create an organization or to promote a body of work.

It arose from the recognition of a transmission of consciousness and from the commitment to serve it faithfully.

The works received by Sebastián Blaksley are an expression of that transmission. They are not an end in themselves, but thresholds that invite the recognition and embodiment of the consciousness of Love from which they arise.

For this reason, the vocation of the Foundation is not simply to preserve a collection of books.

Its call is to help safeguard the living consciousness from which those works emerged, so that it may continue to be transparently expressed through people, communities, and the various forms that serve it.

Publications, translations, the Library, spaces of Presence, UNUM, and every initiative of the Foundation exist solely in service of that call.

Forms will change with time.

The transmission remains.

For this reason, we seek to discern every decision in the light of one simple and enduring question:

Does this serve the consciousness the Foundation has received the vocation to safeguard?

We also recognize that fidelity requires profound humility.

With the passing of time, even the sincere desire to remain faithful can quietly become a subtle form of personal or institutional self-affirmation. When this happens, attention gradually shifts away from the transmission itself and toward those who believe they are its custodians.

For this reason, we continually remind ourselves that the transmission does not belong to us.

We are not its owners.

We are not its measure.

We are not its destination.

We are servants of a Presence that always precedes us, sustains us, and transcends us.

This is the call we seek to renew each day.

From this call, we strive to ensure that every word, every decision, and every form becomes a transparent expression of the Love we have received the privilege to serve.

To ensure that forms always remain at the service of the Work and never take the place of Love. With this heartbeat, our document of discernment is born:
