There are places that are not born to create more noise in the world.
They are born to safeguard silence.
The Octagon emerges as a space devoted to prayer, contemplation, and presence within Refuge of Divine Love, in the Tigre Delta, Argentina.
A place conceived for pausing.
For remaining.
For remembering.
Surrounded by nature, water, and the silence of the Delta, this space seeks to offer a simple and profound environment for meditation, inner stillness, and the opening of the heart.
It is not being created as a center of activity, but as a refuge of quietness.
A space where presence may be inhabited without interference.
A Space for Silence
We live in times of overstimulation, speed, and constant noise.
Even spirituality often becomes information, consumption, or the accumulation of experiences.
The Octagon is born from a different place.
It does not seek to add more content, but to offer a space where it may simply become possible to pause.
To breathe.
To listen.
To inhabit silence.
Here, prayer does not belong to any particular religion.
Meditation is not a technique.
And presence is not a goal to attain.
They are ways of remembering what is essential.
The Birth of the Project
Over the past years, Refuge of Divine Love has quietly begun opening its doors as a space for contemplation, encounter, and presence.
Within this context, the possibility naturally began to emerge of building the space requested by our Divine Mother in the vision that gave birth to Refuge of Divine Love: a place dedicated to silence, prayer, and presence.
Thanks to the profoundly generous gesture of some members of the community, a large part of this work will begin to take form this year.
As news of the project began to circulate, many people asked how they could concretely accompany this birth.
For this reason, we have opened the possibility for those who feel called in their hearts to participate in the construction of The Octagon.
Not as an obligation.
Not as a campaign.
But as a way of building together a space that may remain and serve others for generations.
Participating in the Construction
All contributions will be devoted entirely to the construction of The Octagon within Refuge of Divine Love.
Those who wish to accompany this project may do so through the following means:
A Shared Work
The Octagon does not belong to a person.
Nor to an idea.
Nor to an individual search.
It belongs to the silence from which we all come.
And perhaps, in times when the world seems to drift further and further away from itself, building spaces of presence may also be a form of love.

Encounters, retreats, and stays are not practices to be “carried out,” but ways in which the Presence of Love becomes embodied among those who offer themselves to it.
At times, Presence is felt in shared silence;
at other times, in a word that arises from the heart;
and at other times, in a stillness that seeks nothing.
